I am bachelor degree in International Relation studies in 2007. Low-politic issues such as international communication among citizen or non-government actor has attracted my interest. We live in interconnected world. No one subject exist independently, everything must be reasons. I have to pursue visual communication knowledge by myself. Technically its not taught in my university department. Being visual communication designer is not how can we make million good looking design works, its social science not just craftsmanship.
Writing and designing activity can't be parted. There are whole processes to make good design. I do these processes. Through writing, we can assess our knowledge about a subject. Design works reflect how much we understand about the problems that want to be solved. I was partime design lecturer in Communication Department for leading Islamic private university in Yogyakarta in 2009 just for one semester.
A year before, I won first runner-up at Beijing Olympic 2008 poster design competition held by CJ Paper and Embassy of People's Republic of China. In 2005 I am became big-ten of Creative Student Award with the nine others students from various cities in Indonesia. This creative award held by Indonesian Association of Advertising Agency chapter Yogyakarta. My first design achievement is in 2004 when I won first champion at stamp design competition held by Indonesia state postal company and Gajah Mada University.
